The Growing Stone is a set of oil paintings on canvas, including one large painting and nine small paintings, using Camus's The Myth of Sisyphus as inspiration to express my thoughts on the sense of the absurd. We live according to a fixed pattern every day, and when we stop to think about the meaning of it all, we inevitably feel a sense of absurdity. In this series of works, a red cube is interspersed in the picture as a symbol of the sense of absurdity.
